A trained commercial executive, Brennan Marilla began preparing for his career as a student at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, where he successfully completed a bachelor of arts in business management and participated as an officer in the Sigma Chi fraternity. Later, he received additional training as a sales and marketing executive at the Kellogg School of Management, where he took executive education classes on topics such as sales force performance, sales force compensation and business marketing strategy. Furthermore, Brennan Marilla completed a course in technology marketing in conjunction with Harvard Business School and trained in product development strategy at Cal Tech.
At present, Brennan Marilla utilizes the sum of his training and professional experiences as a vice president and general manager with Covidien Vascular Therapies. In this role, he has restructured sales and marketing into a more unified, customer facing organization, successfully executed and integrated acquisitions, and helped shape the product portfolio and rebrand the business. Prior to beginning work as vice president and general manager, he served Covidien Vascular Therapies as vice president of sales and global marketing for the company’s peripheral vascular business.
